March 2022NOT REASON TO EVERY LEAVE THIS AMAZING PR0PERTY
We can not say enough about this amazing property. First of all, Olga the owner, is truly on of the most gracious hosts I have ever encountered. She even had her Daugher help my son with fun activities for his age group. Olga bends over backward to make your stay absolutely easy and hassle free. The house is incredibly beautiful. The food was fresh and delicious and prepared by the most wonderful staff. Once you arrive there is simple no reason to every leave. I welcome Olga and her family to my home in Napa anytime. Our stay at La Blanca del Palmar was magical. I wish I could give this property and Olga 10 stars. Oh, and did I mention for a small markup, Olga does all the grocery shopping for you. When I mean hassle free I really mean it! Thank you Olga and family for all you did to make a memorable week in the Dominican Republic. Please come to Napa - we welcome you with open arms! February 2019Las Charcas
13 woman spent a week in this beautiful home, relaxing and being pampered by Nury and Naty. It was a perfect retreat and respite. Olga, the home owner, is responsive, kind and genuinely wants your time in her home to be special. We rented three cars and drove from Santo Domingo on a Monday afternoon. The traffic was interesting and not for the faint hearted. It took us a little over 3 hours. However, the drive back on Sunday was much shorter and much less traffic. The house is beautiful and sits behind a 7 foot wall that is was watched by Melvin. It was quiet and felt remote, though it’s 10 minutes from a quaint little town one direction and 10 from a beautiful vineyard that sits in a cliff, overlooking the Caribbean, the other. I highly recommend making a reservation at the restaurant here and having lunch. The cerviche was delicious! Aside from this outing, we never left the house except for walks on the beach and a few quick grocery runs. The floating dock and deck were a favorite. The water was warm and crystal clear. We enjoyed sea kayaks and brought snorkeling gear....swam and watched the fishermen. Naty and Nury quickly learned our habits and happily worked to anticipate our needs. We never asked for anything! The house is comfortable and beautiful. It runs mostly off a generator so we occasionally lost power momentarily and took lukewarm showers most of the week (before we realized that the hot water is very slow to come, but it does come.) We found this home and it’s location a perfect place to get away and spend time with loved ones....I can’t wait to take my children and husband back. Thanks Olga, for sharing your home!”

March 2017the ultimate in relaxation
We just got home from a week at Palmar de Ocoa and we want to go back! For seven days we did not see one other tourist, we only left the house by car once...all other excursions were made by boat. We swam (and swam and swam) in the clear Caribbean waters and in the pool, we fished, went tubing, read, played board games and spent as many minutes on the gazebo over-looking the water, staring into the horizon, as we possibly could. Olga was the most incredibly gracious host. She stocked the kitchen for our entire visit and was available for all questions about day trips and activities throughout our stay. She is simple wonderful. Nury and Nati prepared menus for each meal in advance (our kids are still talking about their Nutella filled pancakes and surprise desserts) and Melvin took us out on the boat daily. It was a week of total relaxation -- all you need to pack for your stay is bathing suits, sunscreen (some bug spray) and pjs. Enjoy! ”
