NYE in the Mountains — Pure Cozy Perfection

The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed, making it easy to cook and gather together, and the entire space felt thoughtful and inviting. We loved how close we were to outdoor activities while still enjoying the quiet charm of Midway—such a quaint, lovely town, especially in winter. Secluded Cabin

One hour east of SLC airport the drive is spectacular. The Wasatch Mountain range gives way to the small towns along the Provo river. Finally you arrive in Midway. Beautiful Swiss village with iconic Glockenspiel chiming every hour from the town hall. The Cabin is tucked away as you drive along Snake Creek road. The peace and quiet is readily apparent. We spent a week enjoying the chefs kitchen, grilling on the back deck and sleeping fitfully at night. The TV and game room were used every evening. From the back deck we were entertained by the chipmunks and wild turkeys running along the fallen logs. A very memorable week.”

Perfect getaway just outside beautiful Midway! Access to everything Utah offers in the summer and Midway Heber area is a charming and wonderful small town. The cabin communication was A+ and everything you could think of was provided. So much space and we were sad to leave! ”

Amazing week at a fabulous real log cabin. Gorgeous views and lots of activities!

Our party of 7 just returned from a wonderful trip to Midway, Utah, where we were guests in Todd's home, which was an immaculately clean real log cabin at the base of the Wasatch Mountain range, 5 min from Wasatch Mountain State Park. The four adults and 3 pre-teen boys had plenty of room in the cabin to play in the arcade/game room and lounge around in the three living areas. The house was the cleanest vacation home we've been in! Todd was extremely responsive, checking in with us almost every day to ensure we were having a good time and didn't need anything. The location is conducive to so many outdoor activities. Every day of our week stay was memorable. Within an hour's drive we did: 3 amazing hiking trails (Stewart Falls, Wasatch Glacier Boulders, and Twin Peaks reservoir), the Park City Olympic Park (aerial show and Gold Pass adventure pass which including extreme tubing, extreme ziplining, an alpine coaster and a ropes course), white water rafting (Weber or Provo river), horseback riding, and a difficult "Via Ferrata" up in Ogden, UT. Near Provo, in Linden UT, we experienced a cool new escape room concept called The Labyrinth, 16 mini-escape rooms which were part mental challenges and part physical obstacle courses. We would highly recommend this Third Home to families looking for a fun mountain adventure. This house theoretically can sleep 14 people and is perfect for a family reunion of avid outdoorsmen! Great secluded mountain stay!

Todd was great in every way. Great communication and up front planning. The cabin was incredible and was perfectly equipped with everything from kitchen, to game rooms and gathering spaces and tv wind down areas! The surrounding mountains of the state park and Midway are unique swiss themed villages with many outdoor dining options and beautiful golf courses.”

Cabin just far enough away but close to everything

This place was great! Plenty of space for the 6 of us and located just far enough out of town but close enough for us to venture out for excursions. Very well stocked with games, towels, etc. Having the game room was a bonus for the 4 teens. Would love to stay here again! Todd communicated quickly when we had questions. ”

Home in the Hills

Very nice home. The kids loved the game/exercise room. The owner was very helpful and constantly checked in to see how things were going. Great golf nearby and very reasonably priced. Nice restaurants in Midway. ”

Snake Creek is a jewel

We loved our stay at Snake Creek Lodge. Beautiful well-equipped home that provided everything our family needed for a week away. The location is perfect as it is far enough away to enjoy nature and close enough to town to enjoy Midway/Heber and Park City/Deer Valley areas.. Todd, the owner, was amazing. Everything was well organized and he provided us with a great list of things to do during our stay. The girls won the Corn Hole tournament! Lots of games and things to keep any family occupied. We look forward to another visit to Snake Creek Lodge. Thank you Todd.”

Perfect Week in Midway, Utah

The log cabin surpassed our expectations; it is even nicer than the photos. The town of Midway was clean, safe and offered so many recreational opportunities. We got to meet the owner, Todd, and we played a round of golf together. He is a great guy and an excellent golfer. Very accommodating. We hope to have an opportunity to return next summer. ”

Very nice, secluded home, surrounded by tall pine trees and we saw deer and turkeys from the back porch. Great golf courses nearby and fly fishing. Excellent get away, excellent host. ”

Great Family Trip

Our stay at Todd's home was amazing and he was very helpful offering suggestions for exploring the area. A true "Log Cabin" with all the amenities for a wonderful family adventure. Our group of 12 were very comfortable. High up in the Heber valley afforded opportunity to just hang out in the woods or venture out to Park City riding a ski lift to the top of the mountain and visit the former Winter Olympic site. For the more adventuresome I would highly recommend renting ATVs for an amazing experience in the mountain trails with incredible views. Also the Timpanogos Cave tour is well worth the effort for the active adventurer. Thank you again Todd for sharing your beautiful home and your help to make our family trip so memorable.”

The owner, Todd, was extremely accommodating. The house was spectacular! Very warm and cozy and well appointed with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Secluded and blissfully quiet. Great kitchen with plenty of cookware and spices. This sturdily build log cabin was a great retreat for our extended family! It was just as advertised, with a very friendly host.”
