A Special Place

Recently, my wife and I and another couple stayed at beautiful Villa Celeste for a week. It is absolutely as beautiful as the pictures. The house is spacious and beautiful. The beach and the view of the ocean is spectacular. We watched kite surfers each afternoon and once a day a group of horses would be led along the beach. Dorka, our housekeeper, and Franklin, our driver made each day special. And Celeste, the owner, is wonderful and very helpful. If you are reading this, I hope you get a chance to stay in this beautiful vacation home.”

I've traveled to numerous beach resorts over the years and I would say this villa ranks in the top three all-time. A truly peaceful and private paradise. The interior and the exterior of the property were exquisite and the on-site restaurant, Coconuts, offered exceptional food and service. Even better was the service at the villa provided by the daily service by Dorka when it came to breakfast, lunch, and everyday cleaning. Also, we found no need to rent a car, Franklyn, our on-call driver was extremely kind with spot-on service whenever we needed it. In conclusion, we felt safe, cared for, and without question will plan another trip to this amazing vacation spot!!!”

This Villa is in a picture perfect setting: on the beach, with an expansive lawn, large pool, and in the middle of a gated community. We had most of our breakfasts and lunch in the Villa. Dorka was great at preparing some Dominican dishes. There are some great restaurants nearby. I recommend Chez Arsenio (the signature Duck is delicious, and they deliver to the Villa). Also, on the beach in nearby Cabarete I recommend Eze, which has very good contemporary Italian. There is lots of activity to do in the area, including a day trip to Laguna Dudu, which was fun. Celeste, the Owner and Ann, the Villa Manager are both very responsive and helpful. Thanks again for a very relaxing week.”

Lovely Villa on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic.

This beautiful Villa is a perfect get away spot. Very quiet, relaxing, with a pool, heated jacuzzi and a beach! The staff is terrific, especially Dorka who made us breakfast everyday. The house manager, Anne did a great job with pre arrival groceries and local guidance during our stay. Celeste, the Owner, was very responsive to the reservation, and helpful when I had to delay my arrival. Thank you Celeste!!! A nearby restaurant, Chez Arsenio, is a five minute walk away, and we had most of our dinners from there...they deliver to the Villa also!! I highly recommend you rent a car, as there are lots of things to do in the area (Amanyara Resort, Ocean World, the beach at Cabarete). Villa Celeste is a great base to journey out. I look forward to a return visit!”

Picture Postcard Location

Our group of four couples thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Celeste. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, the villa spacious, and the view from the two master bedrooms sublime. Owners Celeste and Kevin Good provided us with lots of pre-arrival information, and connected us with an on site friend who stocked the villa with food and beverage prior to our arrival. I would highly recommend hiring Franklin who provides transportation services (including airport runs), as some popular attractions are 30-60 minutes away and driving in the DR has its challenges. The on site staff was friendly and attentive and prepared tasty and healthy breakfasts and lunches most days, including Dominican specialities. A rudimentary knowledge of Spanish is very helpful. ”

Perfect in everyway

Home exceeded our expectations as photos do not do it justice. Our host, Celeste, was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend hiring Franklin the driver as he is very helpful and knowledgable. Daily housekeeping was also excellent. If you are thinking about traveling to the DR and want to avoid the large tourist areas ( i.e. Punta Cana) this is the place for you.”

Wonderful Owners to deal with.

We were not able to make our trip due to other commitments but the owners of the Villa Celeste are the most gracious and helpful people that I have had the pleasure to deal with. We look forward to staying in their beautiful home in the future. Frank and Lena”
