The drive to the winery is very scenic and beautiful. The winery itself is very simple but surrounded by significant number of acres of vineyards to enjoy. The cottage was not quite up to our expectations. However the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied with necessities and equipment. Unfortunately I believe we were the first in quite awhile to use. The cottage had that look of lack of use for a significant amount of time from the past users. As such, housekeeping was a problem as well as windows not cleanable distorting the view that we would’ve had of the surrounding vineyard. I think the best term is rustic in describing this small one bath cottage. Unfortunately it sits on the property within 25 to 30 feet of the main road known as River Road. This road has more traffic using it for being out in the country. Traffic noise was a disruptor but not a major factor in the overall enjoyment of our stay. For the number of keys that were required, I feel that the cottage was over priced at six keys. We have stayed in other places such as Tahoe during the same time and used significantly less keys.”
