Family trip of a lifetime in Telluride!

Our family had a history making week in this gorgeous home among the Aspens. This fabulous home offered every luxury, breathtaking views, BBQ grill for steaks, board games and tons of space. Easy access to the gondola, downtown Telluride, lakes for paddle boarding and fishing. Our son caught his first fish (3 lb. Rainbow Trout) on Father's Day with his Daddy! That can't be beat! Comfortable Ski House

This home is comfortable and nicely appointed with beautiful views through the trees to the mountains. We spent a week in January skiing in Telluride. The house is a 3 minute slightly up hill walk to a double green ski run. If there is enough snow on the ground you can ski down the road to get back home. My children absolutely loved the week. Plenty of snow to play in outside and plenty of room to play inside. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the tools you need to cook an amazing meal. We would definitely go back to this home!”

Mountain Village Ski Home

Since 2013 we’ve had annual family reunions (six adults) at various locations from Mammoth Lakes, CA to Midtown Manhattan. This year’s at Mountain Village (Telluride) was the best yet! This somewhat understated, yet large and beautiful home was a welcoming site each time we returned to it. The owner was easy to work with and seems eager to share his lovely home with other members. Great ski resort, good location!

Telluride was a great ski resort - no crowds and lots of friendly people! House has a great ski location if you are keeping your equipment overnight and don't mind some walking. If you are aren't keeping equipment overnight or don't want to walk in your ski gear, use Mountain Village's free Dial A Ride to get to the gondola and you are all set. The gondola is fabulous and makes the house and the town of Telluride easily accessible, even for the kiddos. There is a market just a mile or two away, so supply runs are quick and easy. The house was as described, although the basement bunk room has only 3 beds, not 4. General updates could be made - replace VCR with DVD players, upgrade mattresses in guest rooms and include some washable throw blankets for the couches. The concierge service was very helpful, answering our calls regardless of the time (we locked ourselves out of the house - twice). The home included the basics to get you started for the week: toiletries, paper towels, dish and laundry soap, etc. That is always a plus and was much appreciated after a long day of travel! Overall, we enjoyed our stay! ”
