Mountain Masterpiece

Perched quietly among the trees and sounds of nature in the Arapaho National Forest, this home takes you to a remote location of solace, but remains easily accessible to Vail Village and the slopes. The location of this newly remodeled, 4 bedroom, 4 bath, 4,700 square foot, masterpiece is the cherry on top. The home is a beautiful balance between rustic cabins and farms, to modern luxury found in the most sought after neighborhoods around the world.

The exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, and touches of natural materials mix beautifully with the lush furniture and amenities found throughout the home. In the main living area of the house, you will find room for everybody to lounge around the fireplace and watch a movie after a long day of skiing. The rear-facing wall is lined entirely with gaping windows, allowing you to enjoy the warmth while taking in the beauty of nature all around. During the summer months, you might even be lucky enough to catch a couple of local deer or bears roaming about!

An open floor plan keeps the transition between the living room, dining room, and kitchen perfectly fluid. Located directly behind the dining table, and haloed with light from two whimsical chandeliers is a generously-sized granite island. The centerpiece of the entire kitchen, it will make meal time in this chef’s kitchen a social affair for all to gather around. Other amenities in the kitchen include a gas top stove, ample utensils, coffee maker, and a Keurig.

Walk up the stairs and don’t forget to check your surroundings. The wood panels on the wall and the chandelier draped with foliage, are details that cannot be missed!

In the master bedroom, you might find it hard to get up and leave your splendid oasis. The room is suited with a king size bed, gas fireplace, and French doors leading to the back-yard patio. This room also features vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows, pouring in natural light to each corner. Accompanied with the master bedroom is a master bathroom. There is ample counter space and hot water from the shower to keep guests warm and happy!

Situated on the corner of the house, with windows opening up the corners of the room to the outside, is the second bedroom. This room is furnished with a queen size bed that is topped with enough blankets to keep you warm on the cold nights. It is the perfect space for a person who enjoys writing or bird watching with a desk placed next to the bed, facing out one of the corner windows.

The third bedroom of this house is located in a private loft above the stairs. The natural light of this bedroom play as a lot of the décor to the room. It’s simply breathtaking what natural light can do to a room! This lofted lair is fitted with a king size bed and a reading nook. It’s the perfect place for someone looking to spend time with friends and family, but still searching for a bit of privacy.

The fourth bedroom is secretly located behind the home’s entertainment room. Walk past the gigantic clock, flat-screen television, and cozy couches to find the bonus bedroom. This room comes with two full size beds with an additional trundle bed available. The room can sleep up to five people, and even at its maximum each guest still has enough room to create their own space. The unique take on decor in this room makes it a delightful stay, no matter what your age!

At the end of your day, be sure to take a dip in the hot tub located out back…you deserve luxurious relaxation.
