Wonderful July stay at Bella Vista!

Our party of 9 (5 adults, 4 children ages 8-12) had a fantastic trip to Breckenridge, Colorado this July. We were traveling from TX and VA so it was a welcome relief from the oppressive heat and humidity of the southeast and southwest! Brian's home, Bella Vista Breckenridge, was absolutely perfect for our family. We used both properties (the main house of 4 bedrooms and the guest cottage of 2 bedrooms) and despite lots of stairs (having broken my foot 5 days before the trip, it was a lot of climbing between the main room and bedrooms), it was the perfect accommodation. The kitchens are very well equipped for full dining and our amateur chef in our party cooked most nights. You cannot ask for a better location...2 blocks from the main street in town. The family loved the hot tub in the barn and being so close to all the shops. Breckenridge is the cutest town, with lots to offer and it was a great summer retreat. Our highlights included watching the local theatre production of The Play That Goes Wrong, whitewater rafting down Brown's Canyon/Arkansas River, horseback riding, the Country Boy Mine tour and gold panning, and general shopping and eating in town. For the fishermen out there, we had a fun experience trying it at Frisco, Marina. Brian's property manager was wonderful - he stopped by several times to address any little thing that he noticed (which we didn't even know was broken) and the cleaning crew was prompt. The house has the feel of a well trafficked vacation rental (cleaning crew does a good job with weekly turnover but our nitpicky family did a deep clean of all the plantation blinds, and dusted behind the headboards) but it was very comfortable, with very nice, well equipped bathrooms, tons of towels, and everything was working well. We forgot there was no A/C in the houses, but there are PLENTY of fans you can use to cool down the rooms in daytime, and the evenings get nice and cool. Just keeps getting better!

Our third visit to Bella Vista and although we thought we had it all, it just gets better! It’s a lovely house with everything you need in good supply. Excellent location - so convenient having a short walk to Main Street and thank you Brian for the restaurant tips - we loved The Blue Fish. We had some great snowfall during our stay which made it one of our best ski holidays in Breckenridge so far! Would highly recommend this property,”

Well equipped rooms, luxury bathrooms, great kitchen/diner/sitting for all to enjoy and a super cinema room. You even arrange a great snowfall for us late in the season! The skiing was amazing!! We had the most amazing time in Breckenridge made even more enjoyable by the excellent facilities at Bella Vista. This is a beautiful property with superb facilities. The bedrooms are lovely with more than enough storage space, all bathrooms are to a high standard and the layout of the property was perfect for our party. A short shuttle bus ride to the slopes and a quick walk to Main Street. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely recommend this property and look forward to a return visit.”
