The Mouse House: Downtown Greenville

This property is located in the heart of downtown Greenville. The home's location is truly downtown living at it's finest, it is located just a five-minute walk to Main Street. Forbes Magazine calls Greenville one of America's Best Downtowns. It has a thriving arts scene, hundreds of restaurants, shops and boutiques, popular annual festivals, numerous historic sites and museums housing significant art collections.

This historic home will soon celebrate it's hundredth birthday. It maintains the historic character, while having modern updates and finishes throughout. The property is located directly on Heritage Green with the stunning backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is decorated with neutral colors, minimalistic design, and eclectic art.

The first floor features original hardwood floors and a modern kitchen which is just off the dining room with seating for 8. There is also a living room with fireplace and a sunroom. The house has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed and en suite bathroom. The second and third bedrooms both offer two twins beds and share a bathroom.

There is a great screen in porch and back deck. It is the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or dine al fresco.

Downtown Greenville has an art installment along Main Street: there are 9 bronze mice to find as you walk through our most renowned section of downtown. Our house has 9 rooms, and as we tied it into some of the unique parts of Greenville that we love, we decided to hide 1 metal mouse in each of the 9 rooms of the house. Good luck finding them!

You are walking distance to all downtown Greenville has to offer. Explore downtown attractions like Falls Park, Cleveland Park, or the Swamp Rabbit Trail, by foot or rent a bike. You are 30 minutes from Caesar’s Head and Jones Gap for hikes, photos and picnics, but Greenville also has its own mountain park right in town. Downtown is filled with galleries and performance arts venues, most notably the Peace Center, which has two indoor theaters and outdoor amphitheater. In Greenville, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.
