July 2024Everything we hoped and more
Clean rooms, well kept furnishings, the free breakfast, and happy hours was a nice perk. My kids did not want to leave the recreation are. The best experience of all was the service from staff - friendly and kind. ”

July 2024Lovely condo with social flair
Besides having a terrific location in the village we found the resort features like included breakfast and nightly wine or cocktails a special treat. The staff is delightful too. (This is similar to our own home resort in Vail). The condo is quite roomy and is well laid out with bedrooms at opposite ends of the hallway. Our deck faced the parking lot, but we still overlooked beautiful pine trees. While TRC is not as high end as some other buildings in Northstar, we've stayed at several, the walking distance (just across a parking lot) access to the NPOA swim center facility is so convenient. It's a beautiful facility and The Residence Club is the only property in the village that offers this included access. In winter, again, the location is perfect for easily jumping on the Gondola just a flight of steps up. We cooked in a 2 nights and enjoyed walking to all the village restaurants with nice summer outdoor seating. NS Village is one of the few places in Tahoe where you can get away with not needing a car (if you really don't want to venture out). Albeit there are great restaurants in Truckee that are our can't miss favorites. We hope to return during ski season and enjoy this property again. ”

June 2024Lovely amenities although a bit dated
Lake Tahoe is gorgeous and the people who work here are very friendly. They were also quite organized before we even arrived. The inside of the units are nice. However, these are amongst the older units in the village and are a bit dated. The outside chairs are iron and not comfortable. Our unit backed into the driveway so you heard the trucks in the early morning making deliveries. If you are a family it would be convenient and easy with the breakfasts daily. ”
