Family Gathering

We hosted our adult children and their friends and had a wonderful stay. The house is within a short walk to the beach and amenities. The house itself is spacious with two living areas & plenty of bedrooms. The pool was enjoyable as well. I would recommend this house and would come back again.”

Perfect place for a family get together!

Aweigh From Home is the perfect place for a family get together. Lots of bedrooms, two kitchens and two living rooms, tons of outdoor space, pool and walk to the beach and the town of Seaside Florida is right out the door. The owner was a fantastic Host, staying in touch the entire week to make sure everything was good for us. Recommend shopping at the outdoor area and shops at Seaside. Kids can play in the grass lawn area and have a blast while parents shop. Thanks for a great spring break! ”

Wonderful Relaxing Spring Break

We had a wonderful week at "Aweigh From Home". It was the perfect place to spend our spring break. The house is so spacious and the layout was great for our group. There are two living areas which gave the adults and the kids their own space. The pool was great and it was a short walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!”

great beach house!

This was our first visit to the Florida panhandle and we had a great time. Aweigh From Home is very spacious with a great layout for a large family gathering like ours. The second kitchen/living area downstairs was a nice "away" and kitchen prep space. The primary living area upstairs accommodated everyone. The kitchens were well-equipped, which we really appreciate. The beach is gorgeous and just a short walk from the house - not a problem to go back & forth several times a day. The nearby town (one mile walk or bike ride) of Seaside is very cute with good dining & shopping. The owner Bill was very friendly and helpful over email.”

Perfection

We absolutely loved this house and it is huge - perfect for a multi generational trip or a large family get together, we almost felt guilty that there were only four of us! It is beautifully furnished and decorated with a very sophisticated, coastal style. We walked daily along the beach, which is only two blocks from the house, and were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming along the coastline-truly magical moment! Also, the towns of Seaside, Watercolor, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Grayton Beach are all within a few minutes driving. The owner was absolutely wonderful, and very accommodating, taking the extra time to make sure our stay exceeded expectations. All in all, a wonderful getaway and I would definitely go back! Life is definitely better at the beach and Aweigh From Home was perfect.”
