Great stay in this updated, modern home

For our family's first trip to Australia this home in Sawtell was a great place to call home for a week. Located south of Brisbane, we found that there was plenty to see and explore in the area. If you like the sounds of wildlife, we were mesmerized with the variety and beauty. The home backs to a wide creek, and on the other side there is a very large wildlife refugee. A short drive brings you to some great beaches that our kids had fun surfing and body boarding. The home is well equipped and feels to be recently updated. Some of the most friendly neighbors too that we quickly became fast friends. Looking forward to a return visit, and can highly recommend this property. Thank you Heather for letting us enjoy your great place.”

Easy Living at Sawtell

Bonville is a comfortable house (although it is not air-conditioned) on the Bonville Creek at the lovely little town of Sawtell which is adjacent to the larger Coffs Harbour (airport) on the NSW north coast. It is a great base from which to explore the region. Highlights were the coastal towns of Urunga and Nambucca Heads and the hinterland of magnificent forests and farmlands around such towns as Bellingen and Dorrigo.. Heather, the owner, was a considerate host. Everything needed was provided (even fishing rods and bait, and paddle boards to explore the creek) and she called a couple of times to ensure that everything was in order and that we were enjoying our stay. Criticisms? Wifi capacity is limited, the TV seemed more like basic 'free-to-air' rather than cable, and rubbish is only collected every second week. Nevertheless, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in this lovely coastal community. ”
