Our friends stayed at this property and had a fantastic time. The four-bedroom unit was expansive and beautifully appointed. The on-site restaurants offered some of the best “resort food” they’ve had. Two people on the trip were vegan and every restaurant had multiple options. The one and only negative were the long lines to get on the tram to be taken to other parts of the property. ”

Definitely a 5 stars

For a large group this is a great place, the beds are comfortable, kitchen big enough, with a great balcony. It is on the ground floor (some people prefer, some don’t). Service throughout the resort; concierge, maids, resto, pools, drivers, etc is excellent, above most places. The place has great amenities such as towels, shampoo, cream, etc, (but laundry soap and dishwasher soap would be appreciated). Linen, beds, furniture are of great quality and comfy. The resort is big with many places to enjoy, and food is also excellent! We enjoyed the walking path very much, the various pools, gym, beach and restaurants. If you prefer not to walk, the shuttle cars are frequent and well organized. 2 weeks at this resort went by very quickly! Above our expectations, truly a 5 stars. ”

Fantastic stay at Vidanta!

We had an exceptional trip to Vidanta! Our group consisted of four couples and we all remarked on how this was one of the best trips we've taken. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip as relaxing as possible. The grounds, beach clubs, and restaurants are all exceptional and provide a nice variety. The food here is superb, unlike what you'd see at an all-inclusive. I highly recommend Vidanta and will be back!”

Great week

The Vendata staff at the Grand Luxxe could not have been nicer or more accommodative. They were attentive to our every need, cheerful and detail oriented. The condo was spectacular. Very comfortable, with everything we needed. Travel around the campus was easy with dedicated shuttles. Pools and beaches were immaculate. But the most amazing and impressive part of the whole trip was the food. Each restaurant's food was more surprisingly good than then next. Would go back in a heart beat.”

We reserved multiple units during our stay here including the 4 bedroom and 3 bedroom residences. The 4 bedroom was massive but was on the ground floor and VERY dark (somewhat depressing and you never wanted to spend time in your room). We preferred the 3 bedroom residence loft which was above the tree line, had more sunlight and felt more comfortable (still no view though). The beach is not nice. Pools are 3.5/5. We would give the food a 4/5 and service 4/5. The spa is 4/5 (needs updating but good service). I would not categorize this as a "luxury" resort as it services many different demographics. They heard you together with tons of other people in the "free" shuttle from the airport to the hotel (worth paying for your own private transport). We pre-paid $3,000 for the week and got a $600 bonus credit. Download the app and pay attention to the events. Overall this place gets a 3.5/5. ”

Amazing vacation... A must do!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful time at Grande Luxxe Riviera Maya. The variety of amazing pools is outstanding, if it weren't for Hurricane Grace, we would have enjoyed a different pool every day. The service provided from every staff member was excellent. Be sure to visit Jungala, and book a Cabana, you won't regret it! A bar in the lazy river? Awesome! Also, be sure to do Le Petite Chef. One of the best meals I've ever had! Great food, and a great show. We'll be back!”

Never Leave the Room!

We are slightly addicted to Vidanta! Our main love will remain the amazing resort in NV, but this one did not disappoint! The rooms are Heaven on Earth, the grounds look just like the Garden of Eden would look and then you add that BEAUTIFUL water park! We made the mistake of leaving for a few excursions and wish we had just stayed on the property and enjoyed the Beach Club a bit more, but there is always next time! Thank you Vidanta and all your crew for loving us! ”

The 4 bedroom Grand Deluxe at Vidanta Rivera Maya was excellent!!! True luxury, spacious and service is top notch! Not on the beach, but more of a quiet "jungle" atmosphere... which meant quiet afternoons on the patio that extends the full length of the unit! Tons of pools, restaurants and activities on the resort, plenty to do for everyone. Enjoy!”

The resorte is a increíble place, the four bedroom residence amazing, We have been at Vidanta Vallarta having a grate experience, unfutunatelly we did not have the Thirdhome experience as we are use to, they charge an extra fee for washing dishes , when ever we ask for transportación they tell us that as we came from thirdhome we were not the owners so we where not platinum so we have to wate as long as 35 minutes to move from one place to oder. It will be agreat vacatión if you have never been in another Vidanta experiencce . It seems that they do not know how the club works .”

3 Stars Could Have Easily Been 5

I just returned from The Grand Luxxe after spending a week there 7/10/20 - 7/17/20. The resort is beautiful and I took advantage of everything it has to offer. Cirque du Soleil was a very good show and live music afterward at a nearby restaurant was also great. The spa was excellent and my girlfriend said it was the best massage she has ever had. I found the par 3 18 hole golf course to be challenging and fun to play. We also enjoyed Jungala Aqua Experience and highly recommend it. The pools were amazing and plenty of them to enjoy. The beach is beautiful but not a great swimming beach. I invited three other couples to join my girlfriend and I in the four bedroom we reserved. The room was as nice as any 5 star room I have previously stayed in and very well equipped for cooking. We had daily maid service and they did a very good job every day. The reasons I’m not giving a 5 star rating is because of two bad experiences. When we arrive at the resort after traveling all day, they took 4 hours to check us in. Keep in mind that the resort was only at 30% occupancy due to COVID. This was a very frustrating and unacceptable process. The other issue was at Salum which is a restaurant. It took them over an hour to seat us and once they did, another 2 1/2 hours to serve us. I understand a party of 8 should take extra time but not 3 1/2 hours. In addition to the time, our meals didn’t arrive at the same time and one couple didn’t get their dinner for an hour after the first meal was delivered. I complained to the manager twice and they didn’t do anything to make it right. I expected much more of a 5 star service considering that’s how they hold themselves out. Other then this, it was a very nice place and a fantastic vacation.”
