Great Paris Apartment

Perfectly located apartment in Paris. Located between the Eiffel Tower and Hôtel Invalides, many sights are within walking distance. Numerous good bistros/cafes/brasseries in the neighborhood. Try La Poulet au Pot next door for the house specialty they’re named for! Be aware of the 107 steps to get to the apartment. I just looked at it as an excuse to eat an extra croissant every day without gaining weight. Highly recommended!”

Slice of Parisian life

The apartment is in a great location, very convenient. Easy stroll to all the usual sights, great restaurants and parks. Very clean, beautifully decorated and just perfect for my daughter and I. Elizabeth and Chloe prepared a nice cheat sheet and very sweetly provided some items in the ref. Our bonus was the view of the Eiffel Tower fireworks on Bastille Day which we watched through the window. Very special. Thank you , Elizabeth. ”

View of the Eiffel tower

Imagine coffee and crossants checking your emails with a view of the Eiffel tower through a huge window. Easy access to a number of shops and public transportation. Comfy furniture and beds and the Washer/Dryer is critical for a long stay especially if you want to pack light. Packing light is critical because the 107 steps are for real. Think of it as warmup for the catacombs.”

Wonderful stay

I had a fabulous time staying in this comfortable and well-equipped apartment for 10 days in October. The location is excellent for getting around. It's a short walk to bus and metro stations, and there's a bike rental stand across the street. It's also walking distance to many wonderful sights and attractions if you like walking, which I think is one of the most fun things to do in Paris. I didn't do much cooking but the kitchen is equipped to do so if you want to. It's small but has all the basics you'd need. The living room with dining table is a nice place to sit and relax, and if you want to watch TV there's one in the "bonus room" if that's the right name for it - a large room with two single-bed sized sofas that could be used as beds. Or beds that could be used as sofas. The master bedroom was comfortable, and the bathroom, although small, was fine and had decent storage space. I loved the heated towel rack. The only thing that might make some hesitate is the 5 stories of stairs. I was plenty winded at the top each time, but I liked the workout. If you're up for that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment for a great stay in Paris. ”

Extraordinary Host

We found the person who owns the Aerie to be very kind and considerate. The view was delightful. It was nice to be able to use a washer and dryer. 109 stairs wouldn't work for some people but we thought it would help us burn off a bit of the fabulous food. We walked a great deal every day. The location was conducive to set forth on reasonable walks to a number of places we hoped to see. This is not a luxurious but more of a quintessential place to roost.”

The view of the Eiffel Tower is fantastic! The apartment is within walking of a lot of major sights and there are bus stops and a metro close by. Restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores are all just around the corner. The apartment is well equipped and doesn't lack anything. Elizabeth and her assistant are quick to answer questions. Location, Location, Location….. We had an absolutely fantastic time. The owner is incredibly accommodating and kind. This is beautiful flat above the rooftops, a slice of Parisian Heaven.. No need for a car but if you have one the nearby parking garage is super convenient… A++”
