February 2023Beautiful Tuscan Villa with amazing views!
My wife, daughter and boyfriend stayed in one of the suites in this authentic, restored Tuscan Villa property during the first week of February to visit the Tuscan region. The drive up to the villa only heightened our excitement for this special stay. Our wonderful Host/Owner greeted us in the parking area with a vista that was just the beginning of our awe of this enchanting property. It looks and feels like a mini resort, with an authentic restoration clearly a work in progress. The gardens, pools and terraces create such a private and old world charm. Our 3 bedroom suite on one level of the Main House was so comfortable and classically decorated. While the baths and kitchen fixture and appliances are "old world", they all work and make the experience consistent with the entire property and region. We traveled to the historic cities of Lucca, Pisa and Viareggio for the 150th Annual Carnevale...all within 45- 60 mins of scenic driving through Tuscany. Our Host was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities...and delicious wine. He even arranged a private dinner for us at the Villa with a very talented chef who made us an incredible dinner of Risotto with Black Truffles and Tuscan Steak with Roasted Vegetables...so delicious and great fun! The vistas from our terrace with pool were incredible...the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking! Thank you Palmi and ThirdHome for a lifetime experience- we hope to come back again! ”
