4 star facility right on the smi hill

Very much enjoyed The Chateau , Teresa was very accomodating allowing us to adjust the date by 1 day allowing us to transition from one facility to another. The property is just across the street from the lifts on the Deer Valley ski hill . Unfortunatly they closed the hill 2 days after we got there , prematurely in my mind as they got about 10 inches of fresh snow the day they closed and the base was excellent . Great ski hill though and I actually liked it better than Park City. Utah is an amazing destination on many fronts and wheather you come for the skiing or the incredible parks like Zion or The arches it is a great vacation Value ”

Spring Break at the Chateaux

We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay at the Chateaux, as this is our second trip to this property we were fully aware of the great service and easy access location. The property was very nice and comfortable for the two of us. The property staff were extremely accommodating and flexible with our requests. Great summer destination

Just returned from the chateaux and had a great time. The weather with cool evening and bright sunny days were a welcome relief. There is so much to do in the deer valley area with hiking, biking and many outdoor concerts. Alex, was very helpful in helping us plan our stay at the chateaux, We also visited the national parks in southern Utah which are not to be missed!we can see why they say that we came for the winter but stayed for the summers. We will return.”

End of Season Fun

Stayed at property last weekend of ski season at Deer Valley. Plenty of snow and even snowed last day of ski season. Property was what you would expect from a sister property to the Stein Erickson. High quality finish, friendly and helpful staff, large unit, and wonderful location for skiing. Staff provide local transportation to area attractions and restaurants. Prompt and very helpful. Layout of room was different than expected and more than what we needed for family of three. One room had king bed with mini kitchen, common area had a full kitchen with a Murphy bed that comes down from the wall, and second room had two queen beds with another kitchenette (refrigerator, coffee maker, etc.) Only complaint was we could never get the heat right - too warm - but opened windows and doors which helped. Every room has a fireplace. There is a restaurant on property which served a reasonably priced breakfast buffet with good choices. Bar did not open until 6 which was a little late for apres ski -don't know if it would open earlier if more peak season. Ski rentals are on property. Pool and hot tub are heated and outside. Views of mountain were excellent. Narrow porch available off common room. Maid service every day along with turndown at night. Washer and dryer in closet in room. Every room had a separate entrance to main hallway of property - I suppose they might subdivide to rent in smaller sections at other times. Can also charge to room when using restaurants at the Stein Erickson.”
