December 2023Great PV Home
Right across the street and next door to the fabulous Garca Blanca resort in a cute 12ish home classic hill community. Makes getting a cab or uber super easy. You can make reservations to use the restaurants and spa there. Not sure about the beach, but there is a public beach a short walk and a cool day club. The house lacks a bathroom not in a BR, but each BR has its own bathroom. Older home but well maintained. Good wifi and cable. Cute Codi (racoon) family in the hood so close doors at night (thy got into the kitchen trash). Nice pool, limited sun in the mornings, ocean / sunset view. I would happily return. ”

December 2023Beautiful home! Great View. Lots of noise
We loved so much about Casa Perla. The views were incredible and the heated pool was used daily. The rooms are large and the ensuite bathrooms allow for privacy. We liked being out of the hub-bub of downtown PV but easily being able to take the bus to PV or to Boca (20 minutes ride). We had a superb birthday dinner at Karuma, one of the restaurants at the adjacent Garza Blanca resort. We took the bus to Boca one day and just hung out at one of the cafes along the beach there. Alberto, the house manager, was attentive to our needs and Ramon cooked an incredible meal for the night we arrived. I highly recommend using the service to pre-stock the kitchen with food. I pre-ordered tequila so shortly after arrival we were drinking margaritas and eating Ramon's cerviche. We also did the tequila tour with Jorge, which was excellent. Two big negatives though - you have to be diligent with the badgers. They got into the kitchen 3 times and ate all the food they could get their hands on while making quite the mess. The sneaky bastards kept finding news ways to get into the house. Secondly, as the listing says, the house is on the main road so can get noisy but it was the neighbor who operates his wood-working business at the connecting casa running his saw for hours on end that really made sitting on the veranda & relaxing impossible. This happened on only the last 3 days of our stay. This is not a quiet house. Otherwise, we loved everything about it. ”
