The entire house is centered around the living and dining room spaces. The open concept of the expansive room welcomes conversation at all times of the day. Enjoy morning coffee and take a cozy seat on the couch while overlooking the lake through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The kitchen will be a very popular room during a fabulous stay! Most lakeside retreats include plenty of meals at home, so the kitchen is equipped to handle quite a hungry crowd after a day on the water. Granite countertops and dark wood cabinetry complement the warm space with beamed ceilings.

The chalet offers four bedrooms, including queen-sized beds and a bunk room for the kids. There is plenty of space in each room to retreat to and keep one’s items organized and tidy. Each bedroom has its own bathroom as well for added luxury space and comfort.

Enjoy a meal or happy hour on the back deck, or simply walk by the hammock as you make your way to the lakefront. A private dock complete with multiple sunbathing chairs awaits you! Spend the day basking in the sun, take a kayak for a spin or feel refreshed after going for a swim.

Retreat in the woods

We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Midwest Chalet! It is beautifully decorated and has a beautiful view of the wooded area and lake. The neighborhood has hiking trails and a gym. We enjoyed the paddle boat on the lake! We look forward to visiting again!”

Serene and beautiful!

Lovely home that is cozy and nestled in the woods. It is located in a beautiful 7500 acre master planned community with more than 100 lakes. It is ultra serene and perfect for nature lovers and outdoors enthusiasts. Set in a a rural location, the internet is not super strong, so you may need to bring a booster. If you are planning on relaxing and taking some much-needed time to recharge, this is the place for you. An added plus is that the downstairs has two master suites with two high-quality king-sized mattresses! I wish more homeowners would not overlook the importance of high-quality mattresses like these owners and also put king size beds in king size rooms. What a plus—thanks Melissa! Final note: this may not be an ideal setting for work meetings on Zoom due to internet that may be a bit slow or unpredictable, but everyone needs to take a break these days anyway, right! If you go with the right mindset, you will have the best vacation ever in this wonderful, thoughtful property. Big thanks to our wonderful hosts. ”
