Bear's Eye View

Straddling California and Nevada's border is one of the largest alpine lakes in the country—Lake Tahoe, renowned for its emerald waters as much as for its inshore fishing. Bear's Eye View is a 3910 square foot luxury cabin located in South Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where top-notch ski resorts and beaches are moments away.

Built in 2016, Bear's eye View features six bedrooms and five bathrooms spread over two levels with 8-inch plank hardwood flooring and clear maple trim. The upper level contains the main living areas of the home and two master bedroom suites. The open great room has vaulted ceilings centered around a beautiful large gas fireplace, perfect for those chilly Tahoe evenings. The great room opens to a gourmet kitchen with mahogany cabinets and brand new stainless steel Thermador appliances. There is a large island allowing for extra counter space and a breakfast bar in addition to a beautifully-crafted dining table. Adjacent to the living and dining areas is access to the upper deck. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail outside surrounded by the Tahoe forest.

The master bedrooms are expansive in size with king-sized beds, cozy seating areas, large picture windows, exposed ceiling beams, and deluxe en-suite bathrooms. Downstairs are the remaining four bedrooms; three of the rooms have queen beds, and the fourth bedroom has a twin bunk bed with a stand-alone twin bed. There are also two immaculate full bathrooms located on this level. The downstairs family room is well-appointed with high-end furnishings, a gas fireplace, a pool table, and a large flatscreen TV—perfect for entertaining.

Bear's Eye View backs up to Eldorado National Forest, offering an idyllic mountain escape. In the summer, enjoy two golf courses within a five-minute drive and plenty of trails for hiking and mountain biking. If you want to enjoy some time on the slopes, Bear's Eye View is under 40 minutes to Heavenly Ski Resort, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Kirkwood.
