Fresh seafood, boardwalks, lighthouses, sandy toes… all things synonymous with the quintessential Cape Cod getaway. Pair that with historic gardens, glass museums, and centuries-old colonial homes, and you'll get Sandwich, Massachusetts—the oldest town on Cape Cod.

This marvelous four-bedroom home is located just a few miles from the town's iconic 1350 foot boardwalk and is almost as picturesque as the town itself. The resplendent interior boasts an expansive living room with a cathedral ceiling, bay window, and gas fireplace. Soft seating and bookcases fill the room, inviting you to get lost in a good novel. An updated kitchen features state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances and a built-in wine cooler, so you can grab a chilled drink before opening the sliders to relax on the deck. Meanwhile, another fireplace in the dining room sets a cozy ambiance as you enjoy formal meals with family and friends.

There is one bedroom located on the first floor and features nautical blue walls, a comfortable queen bed, and a flatscreen TV. It also has easy access to one of the full bathrooms. The master resides upstairs with a king-size bed and french doors leading to a private deck. The third and fourth bedrooms are also on this floor and feature a king and twin bed, respectively. There is a finished basement with soft carpeting, couches, a full bath, and a washer and dryer for extra comfort and convenience.

Make memories in the backyard, whether you're telling stories by the firepit or swimming in the immaculate inground pool. There are some excellent ponds for fishing, kayaking, and swimming less than two miles away, as well as hiking trails and golf courses. Sandwich is also home to Heritage Museum and Gardens, which features eclectic historical exhibits and 76 beautifully landscaped acres of gardens with concerts from June to mid-September.

This Cape Cod retreat is conveniently located 15 minutes from Route 3 and only an hour from Boston Logan Airport, and 20 minutes to the village of Hyannis, where you can take the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.
