In addition to its much-deserved title as "One of the 10 Most Beautiful Towns in Alaska," Girdwood is also hailed as Alaska's "only true resort town." You will find activities galore, like hiking and skiing, right outside your front door. The area is also known for fishing, day cruises, shopping, summer and winter dog sledding, wildlife viewing, and local arts and culture.

Looking to cross the transcendental views of the Northern Lights off your bucket list? You're in luck! Girdwood is renowned for the aurora borealis casting its glow across its white winter wonderland. Other winter activities to enjoy are cross country skiing, ice-skating, dog mushing, and the world-famous Iditarod Sled Dog Race.

This location is a rare gem and one of only a few true ski-in/ski-out units in the Girdwood valley. Our humble two-bedroom, one-bathroom home awaits you and your adventurous spirit. Gather in our cozy living room and cook your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Best of all, arise with the 4000 feet elevation of Max's Peak, inviting you out for the day's challenge.

Enjoy the incredible views from the Alyeska Tram in both the summer and winter months to Alyeska Resort. On the top, enjoy drinks at the popular bars and restaurants while you gaze below at Turnagain Arm and its seven glaciers rising through the mountainous peaks. Paraglide on the way down if you dare, as there are plenty of experienced outfitters in the area able to satisfy any adrenaline junkie!
