At Stella Maris, you're a mere 50 steps to the beach via a private pathway. So dip your toes in the sand and work on your tan! For those who prefer to be up and about, try your hand at shelling. North Captiva is known for having the best shelling in the U.S., and this way, you'll have a small memento to remind you of a great vacation. You'll also have a six-seater golf cart at your disposal ($250 per week) to take you to the nearby private Safety Harbor Club offering a community swimming pool and tennis, plus dockage for a daily fee.
