It blends 950 miles of groomed trails with generous amounts of snow, terrain for all riding levels and styles, and easy access to sections of Caribou-Targhee National Forest to create the ultimate snowmobiling experience. Beyond that, visitors can enjoy several other outdoor pursuits like extraordinary fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, and so much more.
After a day's worth of adventure, you'll find comfort and serenity across two levels inside this nearly 4,000 square foot dwelling. The main level boasts a spacious free-flowing floor plan with a fully stocked kitchen, two dining areas, and a comfortable living room area with a propane fireplace—perfect for warming up after hitting the trails. If you need to take care of wet gear and clothes, there are two washer and dryer sets around the corner. And for those who want to keep the fun going all night, there are entertainment options galore; a pool table, poker table, Xbox console, and multiple Smart TVs throughout.
Buck Buck Moose Cabin sleeps 18, with private baths in almost every room. The master bedroom is located on the main level with a king-size bed and private ensuite. Two other bedrooms are located on this floor, both with queen beds; one has a private bathroom, and the other has access to a shared full bathroom. While not fully handicap accessible, there is a ramp leading to the front door with full access to the first floor.
The remaining five bedrooms are located upstairs. The first is a cozy queen bedroom with a private ensuite. Next up are two bedrooms—one queen and one twin—that share a jack-and-jill bathroom. Following that is a twin bedroom and a bunkroom (a double-over-double bunk and a single-over-single bunk), which share a full bathroom.
Before hitting the hay, unwind in the hot tub's bubbling waters or roast marshmallows by the fire pit. Then, plan your itinerary for the next day. You have access to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile and ATV trails literally right outside your door. Enjoy the area's renowned scenery while mountain biking, horseback riding, canoeing, or fly fishing. Speaking of which, Island Park is a heaven for anglers with some of the best fishing in the country found along the Island Park Reservoir; Year-round, you'll find rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, coho salmon, yellow perch, and bluegill.
