May 2024Stunning villa nestled in a lush hillside
We just got back from an amazing week at Al Bastini. The Villa is well appointed and has a chef's kitchen. We would wake up in the morning to birds chirping, deer in the yard and beautiful sun rises. Peter and Judy were so helpful and gave us a lot of information about the area before we headed over. Their house manager set up a variety of activities for the week including an amazing chef. It was really hard to leave!!!”

May 2023A very lovely stay.
Al Bastini is a very beautiful home in a very special part of the Italy. The villa is very private with a beautiful view down the valley. The accomodation is well laid out with lots of seperate areas for dining including a large loggia for summer eating outside. The kitchen is fabulous - having just been completed in May 2023. The pool also has just been refurbished and was easily warm enough for us swimming without additional heating. The house keeper/manager was extremely helpful in providing information for shopping, restaurants and activities in and around Lucca - and there is a lot to do and see in Lucca!”
