Bemister's Manor Historic Home
Welcome to Bemister's Manor, a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom historic home in Carbonear, Newfoundland. More than 150-years old and in one of the oldest towns in North America dating back to the early 1600s, this home will take you back in time, but with all the modern conveniences of today's living.
The stunning stained-glass window trim welcomes you upon arrival. Gather with your guests in the spacious living rooms, separated by a warm fireplace. Down the long hallway, you will find the charming, updated kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances fully equipped to help you whip up any feast. An additional kitchen is located around the corner.
Through a set of gorgeous French doors is the dining room featuring a fireplace, a bay window with lovely views, and a table that comfortably seats six. After dinner, mingle in the parlor off the dining room.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and two with queen beds. They share a pristine bathroom with a claw foot tub and a walk-in shower.
This historic property is steps from the ocean, the harbor, and the historic Stone Jug pub, and within an hour from Old St. John's and everything Newfoundland has to offer. Amazing coastlines, beaches, bays, and historical sites await you!
