Cozy, rustic, perfect!

This was our first THIRDHOME exchange, and it could not have been more perfect. The home’s location is so close to hiking and biking trails and the fabulous recreation center with full gym, lap and rec pool, classes and much more. We played board games, had BBQs on the porch, watched the chipmunks and birds in the trees. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Easy and friendly communication with the host‘s caretaker. Thank you for a great stay! ”

Great house and location

We loved our time at this cabin in Truckee. Located so close to Donner Lake. We were able to launch our jet skis 4 days of the trip. Just $15 per day at the public launch. The house is big and sleeps 9 people very comfortably. The views from the rooms are great. In the evening the windows allow a wonderful cross breeze to cool the house after a hot day. Jacuzzi is lovely and the fire pit and grill were great and easy to use. This house is dialed in. We had everything we needed to cook great meals every day. They even have nice sharp knives which is rare for a rental. My parter’s bday week was a success and we’ll certainly be back in the future. ”

Our family had the most amazing stay at the Tahoe Adventure Mountain Getaway in Truckee, California. The location of the property was absolutely stunning, nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of Truckee and just a short drive away from the sparkling Lake Tahoe. The home itself was exquisite, with spacious and well-appointed rooms and decor that made us feel right at home. We particularly loved the fire pit, where we spent evenings sharing stories and making s'mores under the starry sky. The large space provided ample room for our family to relax and enjoy each other's company. What made our stay truly unforgettable was the joy on our son's face when he saw snow for the first time. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and the relaxing rooms and common spaces make it extra special. The location is fantastic- close to everything. The hosts were extremely responsive. Tahoe Donner perfect

This lovely home has all you need for a wonderful week in Truckee and the Tahoe area. The spaces are perfectly divided for 2 families sharing or teens needing their own space. Yet, lots of gathering opportunities as well, such as the large living room for a movie night, cozy fire pit under the stars (buy your s'mores fixins) and Corn Hole play area. The modern kitchen is nicely outfitted for cooking and the BBQ on the deck easy for grilling. While we did not take advantage of the Donner recreation passes it was nice to know we could. A well written set of guidelines and things to do tips are provided by the property manger. Also disclosed is that the driveway is very steep and could be difficult going up and down if snow is present. We were there in August, no problem. ”
