We had a wonderful stay in Queenstown. So much to do and great restaurants for dinners out. Gina was a great host and check was a breeze. Home is amazing with views that are just incredible. Would highly recommend a stay here and would definitely come back again.”

Queenstown, New Zealand just beautiful!

If you like snow capped mountains rising up out of crystal turquoise waters, Queenstown will not disappoint. The scenery is just breathtaking. Our family of four stayed at this home in Fernhill, a lovely residential area very conveniently located to Queenstown. The view from the home is spectacular. You can relax and appreciate Lake Watatipu from the home. The Boat House was recommended and I would endorse it too. We had a dish called Turkish eggs and they were so good I've tried recreating the recipe a couple times since coming home. Kamana Lake House was also close by with great food, drinks, atmosphere and views. Gina hosted us and she went over and above to accommodate us. There was a slight mix-up in the dates scheduled and she made sure we had a place to stay once we arrived in Queenstown. There is so much to see and do in this area. Arrowtown, Glenarchy, Milford Sound and Bob's Cove were all on our list and easy to get to from Fernhill. Onsen Japanese Spa and the jet boat rides were two fun and opposite excursions. One relaxing and the other exhilarating. This was my first experience using the ThirdHome Exchange and it went very smoothly thanks to Gina. She has a lovely, inviting home so close to everything we wanted to do while there. I highly recommend!”

Exceptional views

The views are exceptional from the house. It's location is so convenient to many the many attractions around and beyond Queenstown. Communication with our host was easy and gracious. We were delighted to spend our time relaxing at the home and exploring the area. We traveled as two couples and the lay out of the home offered great privacy as well as common area. A highlight of our three weeks in Aotearoa. ”

Queenstown Castle

With views out of a fairy tale, this Queenstown town home was perfect for us…Americans enjoying our first visit to New Zealand! We enjoyed this cozy home and its great location. Fernhill is simply lovely and has some great nearby restaurants like Lokal which we realized we could see from the huge windows in the kitchen and living area. The view is so breathtaking I could hardly eat my take-away dinner the first night. The master bedroom is very spacious and has fabulous bedding and heated floors in the bath. Besides the Heli/ cruise in Milford Sound, we did the zip line and gondola, along with day trips to Wanaka, Allentown and Remarkables for hiking and sightseeing. My son and husband had a great experience fly fishing with a guide named Shelen. Our favorite dining experience was the Boat House for breakfast. We thought this home was a great value.”

Beautiful home in Queenstown

We had a fantastic time in Queenstown. The home was perfectly located just outside of the busy downtown area. Easy access by car or on foot. Great views of lake Wakatipu. The home was very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. We will definitely be back again someday ”

We had a fabulous time! Gina is a very nice, responsive host. Gina's house is modern, large, clean, and beautifully decorated to fit in with the gorgeous NZ surroundings. The views are beyond amazing. Every day I took a different picture of the beautiful scenery right outside the windows!!! The skiing at The Remarkables was a lot of fun and Queenstown offered many great adventures. The overnight trips to see Milford Sound and the Women's World Cup game in Dunedin were the icing on the cake. Thanks, Gina!!! ”
