Loved!!!

We loved our week at Petty Creek Mountain ranch!!! The Ranch House was amazing! Really rustically upscale, top notch. Loaded with anything you could ever need. Loved the location, views-so peaceful. White water rafting on the nearby Clark Fork River was a blast! We rented a mountain bike for our grandson so he had fun on that. Horses and cattle to love! Talked with the owners and they were really great. We were also able to use the very warm and spiffy cooks cabin for friends who came to visit for a few nights. Excellent week. Fabulous place. ”

One of our top ThirdHome Experiences!

Petty Creek Ranch exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The pictures don't do justice to the fully remodeled ranch house, which is the perfect blend of High-Tech and Montana Rustic. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The second 2-bedroom "Cook's Cabin" was perfect for our adult children who wanted their own space. It has also been fully remodeled and lives up to ThirdHome standards. The property is stunning and we were greeted every day by wild turkeys, deer, and the occasional wild sheep. The ranch is located on a paved road well off the highway, but close enough to get into Missoula if needed. Wayne and Terina were incredible hosts and made sure we had an amazing time. We would definitely recommend Petty Creek Ranch and look forward to returning again in the future. ”

Montana Ranch Life

Petty Creek Mountain Ranch was the perfect Montana Ranch experience. We traveled with another ThirdHome family for a week to Montana and the Ranch House and Cooks Cabin provide ample space for our group. The home is stunning with immaculate attention to detail in craftsmanship. Our kids freely roamed the ranch everyday to see the animals and spend time in nature. We spent our mornings doing various Montana adventures from whitewater rafting to fishing the Blackfoot River and horseback riding. Afternoons relaxing around the Ranch was the perfect way to rejuvenate with a good book and quiet time with family. Wayne was the absolute best host and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. We plan to return soon! ”

Best vacation of a lifetime

Wayne and Terina were the most gracious hosts. Their property was the most beautiful we have experienced so far. Wayne took hours out of his day to plan and teach us how to shoot safely on his private gun range. That was a fabulous experience! Their home and Cook’s home had everything possible to create a fabulous stay. There is a creek running through their property that our kids spent hours building dams and just being happy! One of our kids caught 4 catch and release fishes in the pond- best day of his life! It is beyond our expectations. Thank you SO much for allowing us this beautiful week!”
