September 2023Sotogrande Stay -Sept 18-25
The Valgrande apartment is located in a lovely gated community within walking distance to the Valderrama Golf course. My wife and I planned the trip to explore the area, play golf, and attend the Solheim Cup, which was being held not too far way. The unit was very clean and spacious. Great location with easy walk to pool, supermarkets and some restaurants. The check in was easy. The attendant at the front gate provided the key to the apartment and garage door opener as well as a map and copy of the rules for pool usage. We used the condo mainly as a base from which to take trips to Seville and other tourist destinations. While we’re happy with our stay we have the following recommendations: A one page written guide with directions for accessing Wi-Fi (we got the code by scanning the QR code on the router) would be helpful. Directions for trash removal is also necessary. The unit would benefit from a coffee maker with filters or coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. Coasters, paper goods, and at least one bar of soap could help. The unit was listed as having a TV, but we could not turn it on. There were lots of remote controls but none seem to work. ”
