May 2024Isle of Wight - small place, so much to do
We stayed at Rose Cottage at the end of a month long trip to the UK. May is a great time to visit the Isle of White - weather is warm, rain showers only sometimes and the island is not over crowded. Rose Cottage is in Bembridge, a nice locals village close to the ferry in Fishbourne. Its a couple of minutes to a beach that you can walk on for miles (be aware of tide times) and the seafood is so fresh you feel like you caught it yourself. There are enough hikes and day trips (royal houses, donkey sanctuaries, WW2 radar stations, monuments, sailing regattas) to make a month long stay seem too short. The house is a small cottage, comfortably furnished and well appointed. It has 3 bedrooms and is in a quiet residential neighbourhood, with the village and shops a short walk away. The owner Paul is informative and extremely helpful. He even sent us a map with places of interest highlighted in multiple colours! We would not hesitate to recommend this home to Thrid Home members.”

September 2024Loved Our Time At Rose Cottage
We had the best time at Rose Cottage in Bembridge! The place was very clean and had a great kitchen for making dinner and breakfast. There is a market that is just down the street from the cottage, making it very easy to go grab something quickly for dinner. It was walkable to the Lobster and Crab Inn, which was a nice dinner location as well! ”
