Lyons Den with warmth

Incredible hiking just out the back with numerous trails The staff was very nice and friendly the house was very nice and the owner was very accommodating Great location and Cape Town is quit a beautiful city. We found out how strong our dollar is as we had an incredible tasting for four of us at only $20 total. ”

Amazing House!

We had a wonderful time in Capetown and Lyonesse and the Lyons Den were great as a place to stay, It is in the middle of the Constantia Wine region and very beautiful. Our view from the Lyons Den was fabulous. The staff could not have been more helpful. We stayed in the Lynons Den because it did not have any stairs. It was a better situation for us because one of us needs knee replacement and the stairs to get into Lyonesse and around the house were a challenge with a bad knee. In an interest to be helpful, the houses do not have central heat and air conditioning which is typical in the region, so just be aware that if you go when it is cold or hot, it will not be like home. The owner was wonderful and made every effort to make sure our stay was comfortable. He helped us stock the kitchen with some basic supplies which was very appreciated. The pools look great but it was a little too cold for us to use them. We used Uber and that worked very well. There are lots of great restaurants in the area. We highly recommend the property and think you will be pleased. Everything was well done! We thank the owner for being so concerned with our well being. We hope to return!! Five stars!!”
