Borgo Levi

Borgo Levi is a wholly renewed resort nestled in one of the most beautiful villages in the area, Aliano, situated in a territory characterized by "Calanchi" (ravines) or erosive forms on the landscape, on a clay spur 500 metres above sea level overlooking the Valle d'Agri; a town of forced confine for the writer Carlo Levi during the fascist period.

Source of inspiration for Carlo Levi, in Aliano, the house in which he spent his exile is still intact and which, together with the Pinacoteca, the Museum of Peasant Civilizations and the artistic nativity scene of the master Francesco Artese, is part of the Literary Park that he took his name. Here, the writer drew inspiration for his masterpiece "Christ stopped at Eboli". Particularly suggestive are the alleys, the squares, and the houses that characterize the village, such as the so-called Casa del Malocchio, which features a human face. Borgo Levi is a few steps walk from the House of Carlo Levi.

With two bedrooms and a maximum capacity for five guests, this private residence is the perfect retreat for a family or couples. Countryside views and green landscapes surround this property, and the beautiful location allows guests to wander, explore nearby areas, and enjoy this region's peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.
