Description

GRA Boat House

Anchored in the beautiful Limehouse Marina, this lovely two-bedroom boat house is the perfect retreat for a family or a couple. GRA is a unique way and accommodation to visit London and all the city's attractions.

Gra is luxuriously furnished with high-end furniture and fittings. It has two cabins with king-sized beds, a fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher and even a wine cooler. The bathroom boasts a shower and a bath, and the living room is a haven of relaxation.

Gra has high-speed WIFI, two 40 inch televisions, one in the salon and one in the master bedroom and other entertainment facilities.

There is a large, fully enclosed outdoor seating area that is perfect for alfresco dining.

The Marina is a gated complex that requires a fob for entry. It is incredibly secure with nighttime security and, of course, CCTV.

The Boat House is just a stone's throw from Canary Wharf and the city of London. Limehouse is also famous for its historical significance, where Sherlock Holmes (AC Doyle) and Dickens frequented.

Gordan Ramsey has a restaurant just across the road from the Marina and many other restaurants nearby.

Canary Wharf is the new financial centre in the East End of London. This outstanding example of regeneration is worth visiting, which provides a first-class working, shopping and leisure environment. It showcases many modern architectural styles set in the old docklands environment. Two large upmarket shopping malls offer various goods, and numerous bars and restaurants exist. The shops and most bars and restaurants are open seven days a week until late evening. The park, retail and leisure facilities above the new Canary Wharf Crossrail Station opened in May 2015.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week on Gra. Patrick was the perfect host, and the boat is very comfortable, making it an excellent base to explore dock lands and East London. We would recommend this home.”
