July 2016Serenity at its Best!
My husband and I had the fortune to stay at Coyaba Villa at Taylor Bay in Turks in Caicos this past week! The pictures do not do this home justice! It is beautifully planned out with wonderful furnishings and artwork! Our favorite part of this home was the multitudes of outdoor areas...there are about 8. You can change your location to chase or avoid the sun...our favorite was the Bali bed in the gazebo with views of Taylor Bay and Chalk Sound. The home is less than a 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach of Taylor Bay where there was never more than 20 people on it at any one time! Once we got use to driving on the opposite side of the road we explored the island from top to bottom( about 30 minute drive). We played golf( best island course we have played), tried SNUBA ( a cross between snorkeling and diving) and saw some sea turtles, ate some great meals and most of all just relaxed at this beautiful peaceful home. Our favorite afternoon was sailing on a private catamaran for 5 hours. We had the very unexpected and rare opportunity to swim for 45 minutes with JOJO the wild bottle nose dolphin of Turks & Caicos. He even brought a companion over to swim with us which according to the Captain of the boat was even rarer. Thank you to the Foster family for hosting us and helping with pre-arrival groceries, rental car suggestions. It helped to make our stay more enjoyable. Thanks to 3rd Home for once again providing us with the opportunity to experience a beautiful home and create memories and experiences that will never be forgotten! ”

January 2016Wonderful week at Coyaba Villa
We had a marvelous stay at Coyaba VIlla. From the moment we made the reservation many months ago to the day we (sadly) left for home, we were treated with gracious and kind attention. Lizzie and Karen were incredible. Our flight was delayed due to storms in the US and Lizzie met us at the house long after we had planned to arrive...some of that our fault as we got a little dizzy on one roundabout and struck out in the complete opposite direction!. Lizzy us gave a thorough rundown of the operation of the house...TV, sound system, pool, linens, security, barbeque grill, gas fire pit, air conditioning etc. Prior to our arrival Karen had made us dinner reservations throughout the week at wonderful restaurants on the island (but did not give us one at her family's restaurant, Coyaba, which was the best one we experienced..she did not want to "push us" to her facility. Luckily we barged ahead and made our own reservation there, and were subsequently treated like royalty during our magnificent meal) The house is gorgeous, open and spacious with large, comfortable bedrooms and fancy bathrooms, excellent chef's kitchen, family area and dining room. Joseph the groundskeeper and Miriam the housekeeper were friendly and helpful. There are several little private getaway places in and around the house such as porches, patios, and a beautiful Gazebo which afforded views of Taylor Bay on one side and Chalk Sound on the other. It was a short walk to the tennis courts which were in good shape and which we enjoyed several times. Even had nice tennis rackets and balls in the house for guest use. The beach was as advertised with very comfortable and fine white sand with amazing turquoise water which was knee to waist deep for a couple of hundred yards from shore. Sunsets from the beach or from the pool deck were spectacular, as were sunrises (seen less frequently by our crowd). In short, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Coyaba!”

November 2015Everything you could wish for and more.
Situated on a peninsular in one of the most areas of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos, with Chalk Sound on one side and Taylor Bay on the other, the senior position Coyaba occupies on the hill affords wonderful 360 degree views and a cool breeze. Thoughtfully appointed throughout, the house is the perfect size for a family of six or two or three couples sharing. The owners are very evidently in the catering business as the tools of the trade attest in the kitchen area. Looking for a fine gauge muslin? It's probably there! The bathrooms are immaculate and the soft furnishings are all light and contemporary and the room sizes are spacious, airy and perfectly to scale. The outside area has many different seating areas that allow you to take in the stunning views and we made very good use of the brand new outdoor grill spending many evenings cooking up delicious food and enjoying cocktails al fresco. The house manageress was charming and explained everything to us perfectly on arrival and was always on hand to answer any questions during our stay. Coyaba is really exactly what you are looking for in a vacation home, with all the comforts of home but all the freshness of a wonderfully considered vacation property.”
