We have stayed in dozens of 3rd Home properties and the Pig House certainly has been our favorite so far! The property is an oasis of greenery, quiet, with beautiful views over the Hexham Valley. The beds are very comfortable, excellent linens, kitchen Extremely well accessorized, and an amazing game room with Pool table, ping-pong and darts, etc. There’s also a beautifully maintained tennis court, and the location of this beautiful home is close to numerous charming villages and access to museum's and the famed Hadrian’s Roman wall! Just down the hill, our favorite pub “Boatside” is charming and serves very good pub food. Also, be sure and book a table at “Bouchon”, a wonderful French restaurant in Hexham. Emma our host has been very attentive and communicative throughout our stay, and made sure everything was perfect for us! ”
