September 2021WOW!!! Regent Porto Montenegro is Spectacular!!
Fantastic location at a world-class marina, within easy driving distance to Kotor, Perast and boat rides. I suggest taking the boat ride from the hotel to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks and see Tito's submarine tunnels on the way. There is a drop-dead stunning road up to a national park which has 25 switch-backs along the uphill climb. Sensational views...but take a small car, as the lanes narrow to one lane in many places. The studio room is basically a nice hotel room with balcony, mini-fridge, etc. Included is a full-course breakfast of anything you wish, served by very well-trained and very friendly waiters. The entire hotel experience was top-notch. Just outside the doors of the marina is a pedestrian village (newly constructed) with high-end shopping, fantastic water-front restaurants, and great people-watching. I would go back in a heartbeat.”

August 2019Porto Momtenegro Apartment
Our third stay at this very high class resort. The apartment is basically a room in a very high class 5* hotel. Staff and service is up there with the very best luxury hotels in London, Paris etc. The hotel's facilities include use of the nearby Porto Montenegro Yacht Club along with the hotel's own pool and Spa. The location of Tivat, within the spectacularly beautiful Bay of Kotor, affords many sightseeing opportunities. A visit to the neighbouring historical town of Kotor (a mini version of Dubrovnik) is essential. There was a slight mix up regarding the dates of our stay, with Third Home having it booked as Saturday to Saturday, but the hotel as Sunday to Sunday. This was the second year that this had happened, so I would recommend confirming dates with the owner or the hotel, rather than just relying of the Third Home booking dates. ”

May 2018First Class Hotel stay in a Luxurious Port
My husband and I stayed here with our small dog and were greeted warmly. They embraced our dog and made us feel at home. The hospitality was over the top. The service surpassed any place I've ever stayed. The concierge made spot on recommendations for our stay. Our room was fabulous. Porto Montenegro is an upscale port with mega yachts. There are so many nice restaurants and designer shops. The promenade was our favorite. We loved strolling at night with our dog and choosing a different restaurant to dine in outside. There was music one night. We went in early June, just before the peak summer season so it was busy but not too crowded. This was the perfect place to be situated to visit the high spots of Montenegro and go to the beaches on the Adriatic. Lots of fresh seafood prepared well. We want to come back and would stay here in a heartbeat.”
