Luxury Log Cabin on Private Lake

Beautifully built, this quiet log cabin acquires 4000 square feet on five acres of land. It has private access to the best part of Horseshoe Pond where you can kayak and canoe. The main house consists of three private bedrooms and four open bedrooms while the carriage house consists of one private bedroom and one open bedroom. The estate has numerous unbelievable features including a beautiful herb garden, billiards room, half basketball court, outdoor ping pong room, an outdoor fire pit, outdoor tea room and screened in sitting room.

The largest room by height, the living room features the largest fireplace with the option to turn into a Movie Theatre. There are two identical "reading nooks" that have red curtains and private floor heaters. Also called the “sleep nooks”, you can cozy up with the fur lining and a bunch of pillows to create a dream-like sleeping situation. Turn on the reading lamps for late night reading or crack the window and listen for the loons. (Note* Projector TV only to be used when the fire is completely out). The kitchen and dining room are connected, both decorated with large windows making these rooms have the best views. A single person swiveling couch chair sits right at the end of the room, perfect for enjoying your morning cup of coffee while viewing the lake. The exquisite dining table allows up to 20 people to enjoy a wonderful meal.

The Master Bedroom has a king-sized bed with a private bathroom and a large sitting room that has an additional 2-4-person day bed on it. This room is perfect for a luxury camping atmosphere as you can open the large windows and pull down the screens to sleep with nature. It also has a personal gas fireplace in it to keep the entire space extra warm for the cooler seasons. Bathroom has a custom-made "rain" shower with floor to ceiling mirrors, toilet, light-white log wooden walls, three windows that can open to nature that you can enjoy from the two-person claw foot tub, next to the claw foot mini tub: perfect for washing your feet before bed or it can be a perfect place to bathe a baby. The unique double facing sinks are perfect for him and her use. This bathroom is a truly luxurious place to wash up after a long day outdoors.

The Carriage house is located above the three-door garage and acts as a private apartment. The private space has a dining room, full kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, double sink, microwave, living room with two pull out double beds, large flat screen TV, and private balcony. Attached is one full bath which includes a large shower, sink, toilet floor to ceiling mirror, and claw foot bathtub. Located near the garage is a washroom featuring a washer and dryer unit as well as an additional half bath.

Our lake, Horseshoe Pond, is known as one of the cleanest freshwater ponds in the United States. The wildlife here is protected by the state and the water is no exception. We have plenty of manual boats and an electric powered tin boat for 6, to fish in. If you would like to rent a boat with speed, go to “Loons Nest” on Kezar Lake which is only a 10-minute drive.
The Full Dock is on the lake from May to October. The dock area has an ice-fishing shed that includes a mini wood stove inside for heat during winter ice fishing! In the summer this shed sits on shore and holds boat supplies, life jackets, and fishing gear. There is a Canoe, a Kayak, and a tin electric fishing boat that easily converts into a rowboat.
