Description

Sunrise at the Beach

At the eastern end of Nantucket Island and 10 yards from the beach, this charming, antique 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom Sconset Beach cottage is the quintessential Nantucket experience with one of the most beautiful sunrises in North America, right outside your door.

With ocean views, the main floor hosts one bedroom and, while not ensuite, one bathroom.

Enjoy the solitude of the sparsely populated Sconset Beach while the kids enjoy the new nautical playground a block from the house or take a short drive to any of the other beautiful nearby beaches, each known for different qualities such as surfing, kayaking or the perfect sunset!

At the end of the day, take a short stroll to Sconset's town center for a five star meal at The Sconset Café or The Chanticleer followed by hand scooped ice cream at the Sconset Market.

If you're in the mood for more, Nantucket town center is just a shuttle ride away. Nantucket town is known for its historical architecture, an award winning museum as well as numerous Zagat rated restaurants and unique shops.

Sunrise at the Beach was delightful

We had an amazing week on Nantucket. The home was great. Just what you'd expect for a beach house on Nantucket. Bedrooms were small but beds were super comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed including some spices and items for cooking. We made an adventure out of getting to the island. From a plane to the bus to the ferry. Once on the island we each got a bus pass that we used the entire week. The 'Wave' ran every hour and we were able to time our journeys into Nantucket accordingly. Sconset is so quiet and peaceful. The small market and sandwich shop had what we needed but definitely pricey. We'd get the main groceries we needed while in Nantucket. Lots of hiking, dining at amazing restaurants and fires and sunrise on the beach(which is a small walk from your door) We would definitely make this trip again to Sunrise at the beach. ”
