January 2020Baja beach trip with friends
A group of seven of us drove down from San Diego and enjoyed a week at Casa Del Sol. The house is comfortable and the kitchen is very well-equipped. We hired a local referral a few days of the week to prepare meals which were delightful. There is plenty to do for the active and beach walks are highly recommended. It was a wonderful week.”

April 2019San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico
The 3rd Home overview was VERY accurate. This Mediterranean style home was as luxurious as presented. All the furnishings are "top of the line". We enjoyed the magnificent views and took wonderful walks on flat sand every morning. The sun rise on the East was a novelty for us who are from California. Crossing the border into Mexicali is very easy. The owners were thoughtful in having our stay Tuesday to Tuesday because there are not long lines going into Calexico during the week; we crossed a 11:30 am. Fishing is incredible. We chartered a small boat; went out for 4 hours and within 3 hrs. caught our quota (10) of fish, mostly sea bass. Good news: no fast food restaurants, no American hotels. We had linner around 4pm at one of the many excellent seafood restaurants. I recommend the coconut covered huge shrimp. The owner was very helpful and reached out to us while we were there to make our stay very enjoyable. ”
