Laguna Key Villa

Find everything you are looking for in a beach vacation at this custom-designed, five bedroom, five bath home in Laguna Key, the gated community at the end of the beach road in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Situated on a beautiful lot that rests directly on the Gulf of Mexico, guests will be able to immerse themselves in the serenity that comes with vacationing on the mostly deserted soft sands and clear waters that lace the edges of Alabama’s border to the Gulf.

The Laguna Key Villa spreads across three floors, allowing for plenty of space for entertaining as well as quiet spots to retreat to for privacy. There is an elevator making movement of people, luggage, and groceries easy. The second floor features the main living area with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. Directly off of the living area, there is a large deck appointed with a dining table for eight, as well as four chaise lounge chairs and sun “disks.” Indoors, guests have the option to dine around the eight-person table, or in the modern, eat-in kitchen that features a dining table for two as well as eight bar stools for counter seating. The kitchen is well appointed with stainless appliances including a 48” Sub-Zero refrigerator and separate GE icemaker.

There are two bedrooms on the main level: one with a queen bed and bath with walk-in shower; the other with antique brass twin beds (with additional twin mattresses underneath) and a bath with a whirlpool tub/shower. Upstairs on the third floor, guests will find the master bedroom with a private deck and bath, which includes a large whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. There are also two, ensuite guest bedrooms with queen-size beds.

A large study with desk and fax/copy machine makes working away from home a breeze. It also houses hundreds of books for your reading pleasure while in residence as well as a Tetrix stationary bike so you can exercise overlooking the Gulf!

On the ground floor, there is a small private jetted pool, deck, and two enclosed garages. The pool is perfect for the days when you want to catch some sun but not get covered in sand. For those looking to spend their entire trip dusted with soft sands, the home has a private boardwalk that leads through the dunes and onto the beach.

Laguna Key is a development of 50 houses which are all privately owned and is bordered by Little Lagoon on the north, a national wildlife refuge on the west and the Gulf of Mexico on the south. In the fall and winter months you can watch the sun rise and set with the most incredible sunsets ever. There is a clover-shaped community pool with a large deck with tables and chaises as well as a pool house with bathrooms. The tennis court behind the pool is also available if you want to exercise after lazy days in the sun! A half mile long pier crosses through the marshy shallow area of Little Lagoon and ends at a dock where you can relax and watch the hundreds of birds that make their homes there!
