June 2023Incredible Pacific Paradise
Oak Harbor Pacific Northwest waterfront compound was the perfect place for our family of 17, spanning three generations. Our gracious hosts provided all that was needed for making wonderful memories. The spaciousness of several separated, living quarters made it great for multiple family units to be close but have privacy. We enjoyed chef Stephan Our first evening and the next day . It was perfect to not have to do any provisioning until we were settled in. We enjoyed Stephan and his food so much that we invited him back for the last day of our trip! We enjoyed many family conversations nestled next to the gorgeous and powerful water surrounding Whidby Island. Hiking was literally steps away from our door and was incredibly beautiful. We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to enjoy such a spectacular place. ”

May 2024Perfect Paradise
We celebrated my Dad's 90th birthday, my daughter's 21st birthday and her college graduation in this amazing retreat. We were able to have four different parties during which chef Stefan completely took care of us so we could enjoy being part of the festivities rather than doing the work. He does all of the shopping, all of the meal prep and planning and serves the most delicious food. It made all of the difference for me to have that break and just enjoy the gorgeous views, the daily Bald Eagle visits and OMG, the sunsets! My family will remember this trip for the rest of our lives. If you are hesitating at all, my advice is to JUST DO IT! Thank you, Jim and Katarina and Stefan for blessing us with this opportunity.”

November 2023Simply WOW
Surfcrest was an unforgettable experience. Our group of 16 had no problem spreading out and having their own space, with large community areas as well for us to hang out with each other. The commercial prep kitchen was awesome, and the wood fire oven and wood fire adjustable grill grates was super fun to make dinner on. We will likely be back, thats how much our group enjoyed the property! ”
