February 2024Splinter Shack Lodge in Ogden, Utah
Our family had a blast staying at Ray & Wendy's home. They have a spectacular home and were great hosts during our stay. With our two young men (sons), an 11 year daughter, and my in-laws the house catered to everyone. We spent a lot of time in their game room equipped with a pool table, ping pong, arcade games, and darts while not on the slopes. We had a fantastic family vacation and we look forward to coming back.”

January 2024Super ski stay at Splinter Shack!
Our group of five skiers had a fantastic time visiting Splinter Shack in Ogden. Ray and Wendy were gracious hosts inviting us to dinner one night with their friends and with Ray joining us for a morning of skiing at Snow Basin. Ray and Wendy's custom log cabin home is warm, spacious, beautifully designed and whimsically decorated. It's a perfect place to enjoy easy access to world class skiing at Snow Basin and Powder Mountain without the crowds and parking hassles of the Cottonwood Canyons or Park City. Splinter Shack has all things you need for a great visit--a well-appointed kitchen, multiple areas for hanging out, a bunch of big screen TVs, a couple of jacuzzi tubs, comfortable beds and an excellent game room with pool table, ping pong, darts and old school gaming consoles like Pac Man and Tetris--that is if you have the energy for extra fun after skiing deep powder all day. We also enjoyed the selection of Ogden restaurants and pubs that Ray and Wendy recommended--all with good local vibes and good food. We all highly recommend a visit to Splinter Shack with hosts Ray and Wendy.”
