September 2025Magnificent
The stay at The Old Mill House was magnificent. It is a beautifully restored old mill as the name suggests, located in tranquil gardens. Our host Sally was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. It was the perfect location to explore southern Scotland the only problem being, you never wanted to leave the house. I still cant believe it was only a few keys.”

What a great home! The Orangery was a beautiful and welcome room to relax at the end of a long day of exploring. Sally was a fantastic host with great recommendations and so friendly. The home is beautifully appointed and the grounds are private and quiet. The trips to Edinburgh were quick and painless. And exploring other parts of Scotland was easy from this location. If you get the chance, go!”
