Farmhouse Barn

Beautifully light and spacious, the Farmhouse Barn has been lovingly converted from an old grain store. With original exposed beams and Cotswold stone feature walls, it is full of country character. Stunning arched window frames look out in all directions towards the view across Braille’s Hill and the pretty courtyard gardens. The barn sleeps 10 – 14 and can host many more for larger gatherings or special occasions.

The huge farmhouse kitchen is the hub of the barn, with plenty of space for cooking and entertaining. A snug sofa overlooks the view; it’s easy to spend all day chatting with friends and family and watching the ever-changing skies. The kitchen is fully fitted with everything you need for cooking and entertaining – we have thought of everything you need to celebrate, from plenty of champagne glasses to the Bluetooth Bose Speaker. The dining table seats 12 (14 at a squeeze), and extra tables can be arranged.

A welcoming double-height atrium leads into the lounge with large, comfy sofas – perfect for pre-dinner drinks, movie nights on the Smart TV or snuggling up by the wood burner.

There are five double bedrooms, including the huge master suite with dressing table and seating area (which can be converted into a sofabed). Three bedrooms have their own ensuite, and two bedrooms share a jack-and-jill ensuite. All are beautifully decorated with fresh linens and towels. All bathrooms are stocked with local Cotswold luxury aromatherapy toiletries.

Farmhouse Barn sits on 9 acres of land amongst the local farmland. It is a unique setting that feels like you are in the middle of nowhere; you often see only a few walkers on the footpath. There are several terraces with seating areas, large outdoor dining furniture, and a coal BBQ for alfresco dining. Wander into the private woodlands, and you will find a secret sundeck and a small playhouse for the little ones.

The Cotswold Retreat comprises the Farmhouse Barn, the largest building, a fun wooden Party Barn, and Lavender Cottage across the footpath and sitting on its own grounds.
