Description

Chateau La Guerinchie

This 17th-century castle, nestled within its expansive 11-acre grounds, is an exceptional example of historic charm fused with modern luxury. Owned over 300 years by the Tessyiere family, the château has been thoughtfully restored, preserving its original features such as mouldings and intricate details. The renovation has been carried out to the highest standards, preserving the castle's timeless appeal while adding modern conveniences.

The property includes seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, each individually decorated uniquely. The rooms are furnished with rich fabrics and selected French antiques, offering comfort and elegance. Every bedroom is en-suite, providing privacy and a high level of luxury. The first floor is perfect for adults, while the upper levels are ideal for younger children, offering various bedding options to accommodate different sleeping arrangements.

Spanning three floors and 700 square meters, the château offers ample space for relaxation and entertainment. While the French countryside may not have always been known for its connectivity, the property has been outfitted with the latest technology, including Starlink, ensuring fast and reliable Wi-Fi access throughout the château and its grounds.

The château’s grounds are a true haven of natural beauty, featuring a large pool, a serene lake, and a lush forest, all surrounded by picturesque farmland. On warm days, guests can explore the woodland, enjoy a game of ping pong in the orchard, or take a refreshing swim in the pool. For indoor entertainment, the château offers a 90-inch cinema TV, a slate pool table, board games, chess, and various card games.

Accommodating up to fourteen guests with plans for further expansion in the nearby grange, the château is an ideal setting for family gatherings, celebrations, or peaceful retreats. The current owners, having fallen in love with the château's warm and inviting atmosphere, have ensured that it remains a beloved retreat for all who stay.
