A wonderful place for making family memories!

Our family had an amazing time at Villa Coronado. We had plenty of room for the family and even the littlest of our group at 11 months. He had a nice place to sleep and a high chair which was a bonus! The location on the island was perfect, steps away from the beach and a place to eat and have drinks. Recommend renting a car as the Island is very easy to get around and there is a lot to do in town with grocery stores just a few miles away. The house was very comfortable and we made several breakfasts and lunches to take to the beach. Everyone loved the pool and it gave the adults some free time when the older kids just wanted to swim. We had never been scuba diving so I took my 9 year old grandson on a discovery dive with Mario who was our go to for anything we needed and he also has his own scuba shop. It was so fun to get introduced to scuba this way. There is also some great snorkeling right in front of the house, so bring your masks. We also liked the Money Bar just down the street for happy hour and food. The first night we got there they had a great band playing and the boys got banana splits. Sunsets are amazing from any floor, grab a cocktail and sit on the roof for the best view and ambiance. Lots of family memories were made, we had an amazing time! Thank you Tamara.”

We had a bit of a snafu when we arrived to the island. Tam’s transformer blew up. She was very accommodating and put up our large group in a very nice condo complex down the street. Thank you thank you! A few days later we were able to enjoy the Villa. The home is perfectly located with ocean views and many activities out the back door. We went diving with Mario and he even certified a couple of our group. Tam’s home is perfect if you want to enjoy Mexico in style and outstanding if you are a scuba diver! Thanks again Tammy. A special place for family and friends

We had an amazing time at Villa Coronado. Everything was perfect and in fact, much better than the pictures made it look. The location on the island was great, just out of town so we rented a van from Fox for about $260 USD for the week to make our vacation complete. It saved $ but more importantly time for our many jaunts to different areas of the island The house was very comfortable, had breakfast in every morning, a couple of lunches and used the BBQ one night for dinner. Beds were comfortable and the pool was awesome. We live in Hawaii and our house is also located on the beach so our standards and expectations were high and Villa Coronado did not disappoint. Had a few days of great scuba diving and also snorkeled right in front of the house. I highly recommend walking about 100 yards to the right as you exit the house to the building with a small pier and snorkel from there as the reef was really amazing. Be sure to eat at Buccano's at Night, our hostess Laurie recommended it and it was amazing. Also highly recommend La Cocay (in town) and Chen Rio (on the other side of the island for lunch. Thanks for the memories, we had an amazing time!”

Just Right

Grandparents, kids, and two grand children spent a sublime wekk in Villa Coronado. On the first day the grandkids, 6 & 8, learned to snorkel in the pool, and on the days after, snorkeled in the crystal clear waters of the sea 50 feet away . Couldn't have been better. The house itself was fully equipped and comfortable, and nicely placed outside of town and away from the hordes that debarked daily from the giant cruise ships that stop in Cozumel. With a guide book from our hosts, we found some wonderful restaurants and a big modern supermarket where we stocked up on food for the meals we had at home. Villa Coronado was a perfect place and just right for our mid-winter family vacation.”

Wonderful Stay!

Villa Coronado surpassed our expectations. We greatly enjoyed our stay! The management company took good care of us. Some tricks that we learned while we were there: The house is relatively close to town so it would not be a problem NOT having a car (depending on what you want to do). There is a beach club right out the back door and two houses down where there are taxis during the day that can be caught. The other direction 7 and 12 minutes walk away are two resorts both with lots of taxis to catch later in the day. We had our meals catered by Sandra's Kitchen and they were great. Our favorites were the enchelatas. ”

Diving Paradise in Cozumel!

We just returned from a wonderful week scuba diving in Cozumel, staying at the lovely Villa Coronado. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owners of the home are also avid divers and there is evidence with the beautiful photos throughout the home. We were very pleased with the dive operator that the owner had recommended. The location of the home is about 15 minutes south of San Miguel town (the main town in Cozumel), just across a small street from the ocean. We loved being just this distance out of town. It was a short taxi ride for groceries, restaurants, but with none of the cruise ship crowds. Very peaceful and beautiful. We loved the snorkeling in this area. Just down the road, walking distance, is the Money Bar - a beach club and restaurant, where we enjoyed some meals and snorkeling too. We spent a few sunsets in the rooftop hammocks enjoying the view. The property manager lives next door, and she was very friendly and helpful in settling us in and showing us the features of the home. A few of the appliances in the kitchen needed replacing, but my understanding was that the owner was going to replace them the following week. The gardener brought us fresh coconut water from coconuts that he harvested from the yard. What a treat! This is a lovely home, in a great location on Cozumel, and we would certainly return.”

Amazing Villa in Cozumel. Memories for life!!

We had the most relaxing and amazing time at Villa Coronado. The owner and her manager Laurel were so easy to work with and very informative. If you come here to this home you will not be disappointed. The house is laid out very well and the pool is awesome. The views from the top deck are breathtaking. We enjoyed lots of sunsets on the top deck. The maid was very good and pleasant. Our 2 families with 3 kids could not have been in a better home. We lived in the pool and cooked lots of meals. The snorkeling just across the street was some of the best on the Island. Thanks again for a wonderful trip to Villa Coronado.”

Perfect vacation home

We just got back from Villa Coronado and all wished we could have stayed longer. The place was wonderful; beautifully decorated, comfortably appointed, and impresively located. In addtion, Tam was a wonderful host, providing us with great contacts and information to make our stay and advenures that much more enjoyable.
